Why children are not interested in study?

Every parent struggle for their child’s studies. Everytime children do not listen to their parents. Parents always think about how my child does self study. If not then how I will manage to do that. We need to understand reasons behind why child is not taking interest in study.

Interest in study.

Interest is very important thing while studying. You can't do anything without it. When you are interested to do anything that time no one can disturb your focus of study. You must put 100% to complete your study for achieve your academic goal.

Responsibility of student.

Student must understand the responsibility of a student and to become a good human being, to achieve their own goal. Parents must teach them about personal as well as social responsibility. Some students already have some responsibility of their parents or home as an elder child. Because of this they are working somewhere and earning money while studying. In this case they know their responsibilities and these students are the best motivation for other students.

School environment is not good.

Sometimes school environment also matter our children’s interest. Some school don't have much good environment or surrounding and due to this our children don’t take interest in study. Teaching methods is also important part of it. If students don’t understand whatever teacher explains them then children don’t take interest in study.

Too much homework.

Teachers in some schools give too much homework and child don’t take interest to do that. If always they get too much homework then child lose interest from study. Teachers need to give some interesting study topics so that students also take interest in that.

Family environment not good.

Everyone don't have same family background. Some families always live happily, some have lot of restrictions , some parents always fight infront of their children and due to this children lose their interest in study.

Bad friend circle.

In every stage of life we need good friend. If child’s friends are not good then no one can restrict him from bad habits. In some cases friends always keep helping. Most of the friends who are at a good position they have done study together in their school/ college age.

Need some refreshment.

Refreshment is very important because, whenever we are doing same thing again and again we get bore with it. So, every student need some refreshment. Go for long walk, some time picnic, some unseen places.

You don't have technique how to study.

Techniques are very important while studying. How to remember with simple trick or how to remind that. Such techniques are always helpful for student life. Due to unawareness of tricks of how to study student lose their interest from study.

Your concentration is not good.

For concentration meditation is best way. To clean our mind we need this. Student lose their concentration due to various reasons like mobile or social media. They are always attracted towards such things and lose their concentration in study.

Fear of failure and low confidence.

As we know students commit suicide due to fear of failure and some due to low confidence. While doing anything we need confidence because this confidence encourage us to do something. If students don't have confidence in them then this converts into fear. We need to encourage such students.

Lack of guidance.

In our life we always take guidance. Without guidance we can't do anything. Most of the times some poor students don’t get that. Teachers sometime concentrate only on Toppers. Sometimes parents don't have time for their children, family background is not good, uneducated etc. There are many more reasons like this. This is direct indirect reason where students don’t get guidance and lose their interest in studies .

Laziness.

Some students are very lazy. They are not taking interest to do anything. It is very difficult to deal with such students. But as I said after giving some guidance they also take interest in studies.

Importance of study.

Why study is important and what are the benefits of it. We need to teach these benefits to those students. Some students take study casually because of their negligence or they are not aware of its benefits .

I hope every parents gets some idea with above points and also help them to find the actual reason behind this. Parent’s and teacher’s role is very important to help students to increase  their interest in study.
